Week 4 Sac St.

Thank goodness for a bye! I don't think it could've come at a better time. I know the game isn't over, but it looks like we should pull out the win.

Winning ugly is still better than losing. The bye could not be coming at a better time. Time to heal up and get ready for Cal Poly!

glad that one is over. It reminded me of the last game we played there in 2011 when the entire offensive line was injured and we had to scrape out a win.

Not the greatest result, but I still have faith that this team can challenge for a 4th Big Sky title. When you're playing on the road with as many key injuries as we have you're going to have these type of games. I have no doubt that the coaches will have the team playing at a high level in two weeks.

Huge W what a comeback! When was the last time our D put up two straight 0s?...guys played great...I did have a couple of panic attacks though....bye week here we come.

I knew this was going to be a grind it out kind of game. I didn't think we'd play so poorly in the 1st half, though. Credit Sac State, they really came out and punched us in the mouth to start the game.

sac st, UNC, SUU, why do we always play like shit against some of these teams? just once I'd like to see us blow out a team we're supposed to.

Great 2nd half WIN by the EAGLES! Held SAC ST scoreless in the 2nd half. We got their BEST effort from them in the first half, along with a lot of EWU mistakes. Anyway, 3 of the first 4 games on the road and to come away 2-2 I'll take. 4 home games and 3 away to end the season, I'll take it. UNC and ISU, away should be W's, then the Griz away will be tough, but easily winable.Just take care of home field, and we should be 9-2, or 8-3 at worst, playoffs. Great job by these guys and coaches for getting the W at Sac St.

Well, first off I'm here to eat some crow. I questioned those of you predicting us to only score in the 30s and it turns out we didn't even manage 30, but 28. You were closer to being right than me.

A win is a win. It wasn't pretty by any stretch and things looked pretty bleak in the first half. Hard to believe J West broke a single game passing record for yards and we still only had 28 points but that's what turnovers do. Especially on the road.

The bye week is coming at a great time as we need to get healthy. The injuries are somewhat concerning in the sense that we have so many. Cal Poly looked pretty suspect yesterday giving up 45 to MSU. We shall see what next week brings for them.

Lastly, a shout out to the D. They pitched a shut out in the second half last night. We're all constantly on their case and rightly so, but that was good to see. Hopefully they gained some much needed confidence after that half.

Go Eags!

What is our issue defensively? Personnel? Scheme? Attitude? Effort?
Angles and not wrapping up...my opinion.

D did enough today and helped the Eags to a win!

Hopefully, the bye week gives Schmedding and staff time to do a better film study to correct some of the base issues and for players to heal. No replay is available to get a second look or compare UNI to Sac St performance.
