Week 5 - #10 Sac State at Northern Arizona

With the game being sold out I decided to look on the secondary market. $90 is the minimum price (before fees) to get into the Skydome on Saturday. Crazy
Is "Family Weekend" that big of a deal down there? We usually struggle at Walkup, maybe the heightened atmosphere will give the boys some extra juice.... I see their plan landed.

Last year it was a shoulder/ribs I think. But something about your question and what I've seen on the field leads me to believe it also has SOMETHING to do with a hurt-butt, bad decision making, and at least salvaging some KB for Conference Play RPO.
I definitely noticed KB pouting on the sidelines, over sitting on the bench, lip pushed out. That behavior screams me first team second. I think back to playoffs and how the team rallied around Conklin.

Huh? Conklin didn't play in the playoffs. In fact, we don't leave Grand Forks with a playoff win had KB not balled out.

Why the hell isnt BF OC using hurry up offense to keep defenses on the field. It’s like he’s forgotten so much from TT.

Hope he proves me wrong but watching first series of this game and WTF, 7000 ft elevation make them stay in get tired

Maybe special teams does during time of the game unexpectededly onside kick in Q3.

Waiting till Q4 too predictable. Switch momentum

Conklin staring down receivers. Look them off young man

Offense looks absolutely uninspired. Say what you want about KB but he played inspires football. When he’s put in good position by his offensive coordinator (which is often not the case) Went into North Dakota and taking down that team with his legs. That’s not an easy thing to do.

Conklin looks like a freshman. In all the worst ways. As simple as that.

Bobby Fresques doesn’t have it. What else is there to say. Andy Thompson might need to make a tough decision but he’ll most likely never do it.

Our OC is really about to waste ALL of this talent because of his shortcomings. Just unbelievably sad.

I only was able to watch the first half and part of the 3rd quarter. Some obvious issues, wondering if Jordan Barton could be rotated in. The offense regressed this week and in need of adjustment.

Great to have a reliable kicker… not great to have to rely on the kicker. Same ole song and dance with an offense that’s driving and then hitting a brick wall. Very similar to last week, offense was rather dry until a late first half TD. Conklin is showing promise for the future still but is definitely making freshman mistakes. I thought maybe we were going to see some late magic again in the Skydome until that ball went sailing back across Conklin’s body into the middle of the field, ugh. Thompson definitely needs to recognize what he has in front of him and find somebody that can capitalize on his talent.

If coach Andy Thompson isnt going to lead and manage his team and his coaches, then he’s not cut out to be a Head coach.

I think HC needs to lead his team. Put OC in private on notice. “Get it together or your done!”
This is bigger than W & L’s right now.

We could miss being invited to an FBS conference which could keep us on sidelines of FBs until next chance in 2030.

This is a bad time to have our OC implode

I honestly think our play calling hasn’t adapted to suit Conklin’s Talent. If they blitz he needs those hot routes.
Not just a throw to sideline and a handoff A better OC could call & design plays that make Conklin look amazing.
You can also make Conklin run plays that are not going to showcase his talents.
What a huge embarrassment to see what we saw today. He has not improved since last season. Last season we were lucky to be 8-5.
HUGE step backwards. BV needs to be QB Coach and help fundamentals and mechanics.
A horrific time to fall on our faces as we lobby PAC12 & MWC and look like we are not good enough.

Head Coach ECK at Univ Idaho! Impressive. Built a monster program, lost 1/2 his best players to re load and not miss a step so far.
Resilient.
Vandals up 7-0 over fucd and driving again already in Fucd territory.

Here’s a solid OC. ECK is legit HC
