The 3-2 /2-0 (Conf.) Grizzlies await ! (Per Garside article-SE) - HC Jay Hill: "This game coming up will show our resolve and how tough we really become. We're going into a hostile environment and I'm excited about that game to see how this team rebounds." :coffee:

Dear Alumni,
Congrats for admitting that you are an alumni of the pussycats!
Don't hold your breath, after losing to Suu the pussycats are officially the worst team in the state of UTAh. :yikes:
I am sure Coach Hill and the pussycats will have lots of resolve as you put it.
I am sure the Grizzly's are pissing their pants now that they have reviewed the game film from Friday night.
I am sure they are just confused when they see Wsu run 3 tight ends and two running back formation and are surprised that Wsu runs the ball in such a formation it's just mesmerizing what the OC of Wsu will run next.

Maybe the Wildcats lay another egg in Missoula, but I really hope they show tough & compete against the Grizz if for no other reason than throwing a big dose of ice cold water on your ranting, 'ncaa'!!

I'm as peeved as anyone else on the disappointing performances offensively, especially last game, but the season moves on & I'm simply posting the next game with a printed quote from Coach Hill. It sure looks like he's not quitting, nor hopefully his team! I say good on him, just address & fix the problems! There's probably a lot going on behind the scenes that we don't know that might answer some questions. Likely us fans won't ever know. :twocents:

I've been thru a lot of thick & thin (mostly thin) in Wildcat football & have never been ashamed to show my allegiance to Weber State.

Perhaps Hill should be "most excited" to see how his coaching staff will respond for the Montana game! I really believe that the problems lie more within a sub par offensive coaching staff than they do within the team. Where is the ownership?

You are definitely onto something Baller. Our offense is piss poor. It is absolutely embarrassing.

It's most definitely a combination of player skills and coaching but the root of it all is with the O-staff. Saturday was beyond embarrassing, it was unwatchable and should have been deemed a crime against D-I football. Any offensive player watching game film will need therapy afterward.

The game ball goes to Weber's Offense! Best player on the field for SUU on Friday night. Great job Jadrian and Co. You are such an amazing quarterback that you helped SUU impose one of the worst defeats on Weber at Stewart Stadium in our 50+ years of being a Division I school. Awesome! You definitely deserve to continue as our starter. Lets keep running the ball 50-60 times a game, nothing original mind you, and over-throw, under-throw, or flat out miss the receivers for the other 20 plays and that will ensure another 2-9 season. Go Weber!! We are in great hands with Clark and Clark!

Sadly, this would be a good year to catch Montana looking past the Cats. But I can't envision it being close after halftime.

I figure we have bitched and moaned about SUU enough. What chances do the Cats have of pulling off a W in Missoula? I know it looks awfully bleak, but anything is possible. There is a reason why we play the game. Montana has a high-powered offense and an above average defense. They do have the most sacks on the year out of every Big Sky school. One thing that has afflicted the Griz this season has been key injuries, but Montana always has good depth. For Weber to win, the Cats have got to air it out more. Use the passing game to open up the running game. We all know that the Griz are going to pass the ball a lot. Two things, Weber has to put pressure on the Griz QBs, and our secondary has to play an amazing game. Harrison might be out this week, but, after missing the past three games, Mitch Tulane should be available. If not, I'm not extremely worried. We do have Cordero Dixon available. He had a strong game against SUU.

Anyone else annoyed that we have to play at Montana twice in a row because of this stupid conference unbalanced schedule?

And our chance of winning, fill in the blank (single digit) ___ %.

Here is our coverage of Montana so far this season.

Yes!!

Found this on their forum. Pretty good analysis.

Tells me one very important thing, Weber is a QB away from being an extremely dangerous team. Until we see a QB who can lead the offense we will wallow in offensive inefficiency.

Our defense is stout and the Special Teams decent. If we could just get more out of our offense.

Yes our qb play is pathetic and let's face it we have seen no progression after 5, say that again 5 games!

So if you don't progress after 5 games there will only be digression like we saw last week.

WR play is interesting. Our two big receivers that have played every down of every possession are averaging a whopping 12 yards per catch. FYI Clark is leading all WR with 26 yards per catch as in our qb Clark.

Cam Livingston is not looking like all conference. Except for the one long play against ndsu he is just not breaking loose deep. In fact I haven't seen any of our Wrs getting open deep, not that we could throw it to them anyway.

Denby has done nothing! He averages more than a drop a game. After 5 games he has zero Tds. He also averages a whopping 3.8 yards per punt return, must be so tough in the big sky. Not to mention Denby hasn't blocked anyone all season. I had hope for Dru this season but he dropped one in the end zone last game. I know we lead the big sky in dropped passes but the coaches just keep using the same players every week.

One of only Montana's weaknesses is their secondary. Lots of freshmen. If our Wr can't get open against Montana and get the passing game going something is seriously wrong

Arrived at the hilton in Missoula where the cats are staying after a long bus ride. Either they are loose as a goose or confident as can be, no concerns or game faces here with the cats !
