I don’t get what’s up with the “coaches poll”.

What justification is there for ranking MTST higher than the Hornets?

As of today they’ve faced two common opponents and the Hornets beat the same teams in more impressive fashion.

So what’s the excuse?

I'm not saying I have any idea exactly what the rankings should be at this point in the season but the "coaches poll" is an INFORMED OPINION BY COACHES...not some keyboard warrior with an overinflated opinion of his opinion. They don't need an excuse.

Most "coaches" polls are filled out by a staffer, not the coach.....Coaches have much better things to do with their time during the season....Pre-season, I would guess some of the coaches participate but in-season, I doubt very seriously....
