Unreal All games for the rest of the season are sold out! :notworthy:

I can't see this trend ending next year with VA (I know it is a team effort, but he is a attraction - MUST SEE) still being here and the success of the program.
My bigger question is when are those Visiting BLEACHERS getting replaced???
Why not just purchase the same type that are in the end zone??
FINALLY how many tickets actually did they sell for the UM game?

Yup, my two Eagle games this year are @UW, and @PSU. (Westsider) Great to watch the continued growth of the program in Cheney!

What's wrong with wanting action to take place?
Besides I have to complain somewhere . . . .my wife won't listen to me complain about it anymore! :coffee:

It's criminal that we're turning fans away.

I agree. We gave up our season tickets after the 2012 season when our son was done playing and now we just pick a game or two each season. Unfortunately I left getting the tickets to this weekend's game to my husband while I took care of the hotel reservations. I bet you can see where this is heading- being a world class procrastinator, he waited too long and now we're out of luck! We definitely need more capacity and we need to capitalize on the team's success to upgrade the stadium!

If they sell the same number of tickets to every game that's a sellout, why is there a fluctuation in the week to week "sellout" attendance numbers?

Drove past the field tonight, team was practicing. Looked like the bleachers in the south end zone were bigger than they normally are. Could have just been the angle. At any rate, pumped for Saturday!!

The question continues to be "who's gonna pay?"

I'd have to see how much the 2003-2004 renovations cost at the time, but I can't imagine that erecting an aluminum grandstand on the east side similar to what's in the south endzone would be much more than what it cost to redo the press box, stadium entrance, locker room, and add the endzone seating. That was all paid for privately. If we could accomplish that 10 years ago when we had a fraction of the support we have now, then it's completely realistic to do it now.

I think they still want the multi-use building, however.

I do agree that a basic expansion and remodel of the south end would be a tremendous start, and definitely better than the silence we currently have.

Don't we get money from hosting the B/BB/A state track tournaments? Is it possible the athletic department is hesitating removing that track, because they do not want to lose that revenue?
