What if they had a homecoming and nobody came?

So we have Weber State this weekend.

Weber State lost by 3 at Wyoming and lost 54-17 to a really good Utah State team.
They then destroyed Sacramento State 49-17 at home last weekend.

The big question is will we lose by more points than there are fans at the game?

The fans will show up, I bet you guys get about 4-5K, not to mention, the UNC/WSU series has always been a rough and tough one and in no way is this a guaranteed win for the Wildcats.

Normally I would side with you but this season we look dire.

Hey Wildcat, we fans are a bit shook and our confidence level is shaky so bare with us, but yea, I think we will have a decent crowd and I am sure the Bears will show up ready to play and hopefully give Weber everything they can handle and pull off an upset!! Go Bears !!Am I optimistic as hell or what?

Hey believe me when I say that we Weber fans know exactly what you guys are going through, before coach Mac, Weber was pretty much in the bottom half of the conf year in and year out.

The good thing about it is eventually it will change, nothing lasts forever. Keep your chins up Bears. :thumb:

I'm waiting for the fans to strap on the paper bags like the Saints did years ago! It's gonna happen if we don't change things.

I was at the UM/EW game Saturday, I am concerned that we have to show up for the UM homecoming game on Oct 1.

Rough thing about games in Greeley, there are other alternatives nearby if one wants to watch a good football game, and lots of other things to do instead of blowing a day watching a really bad football game, especially in good weather.

If four or five thousand show for Saturday's game, I will be more than impressed.

Don't worry, you'll beat us by 40.

CSU, CU, or Wyo might be alternatives, but calling their games "good" is a bit of a stretch.

At best, 2k show up, and that's including students. By the fourth quarter, 400 remain in the stands. Plus aren't they showing this on Altitude?

I"m not going, I just get pissed off and it ruins my weekend, if I just watch it at home it just ruins my day. :ohno:

I'm undecided if I'll go. I probably will, but you can't blame people for not wanting spend money on a crap product.
