What planet am I on that Beau Baldwin isn't a Coach of the Year finalist?

I don't quite understand this, but perhaps they felt that the UND coach has them someplace where they've never been before in the Big Sky while Baldwin and EWU are there regularly?

I can guarantee Baldwi doesn't even think about this sort of thing. I don't think many coaches do. Recognition is nice, but winning is a helluva lot better. And you can't find holes in the UND coach, getting to 9-2 given they've been hovering near .500 for a while shows he's got that program on a great trajectory.

Agreed, I doubt he is even thinking about this sort of thing. Also agree that the UND coach has done a good job of taking a traditionally struggling program and nabbing a share of the conference title.
