i'm not sure this is true, but i heard the o.c. went to chris morris and asked if he would switch to qb,wtf? also, they are trying to get there alcorn st, qb to transfer here too.
well, it looks like will be rebuilding for the next 3-5 years as they bring in there type of player, nice! and then will start this stuff all over again.
we are who we are, i dont mind an agressive, new style offfense, but, should'nt we be working to make better what we have already?

thats the real test of what we are going to look like for next year. believe me, i hope we are balanced, and the coaches 'do' install an o thats fits are strong points on personel. i just would hate to see us be something we're not. thats a complex offense at the u of o. it takes alot of dedicated players and coaches to run it.

PlayerParent said:Mr. Lippy when I referenced Oregon's offense I was specifically talking about the TEMPO not necessary the play calling. If they are successful in installing that type of tempo where our team can get 70 to 80 plays per game it would make us difficult to emulate in a week's worth of game prep. Also, there are many versions of the spread offense, from a passing one to a running run, case in point from the NFL Green Bay, New England, Indianapolis, etc... and they certainly don't push their QB's to run first... I agree with Brian, let's just win and I agree with you...really looking forward to Spring Ball!
