I watched my team with dissapointment. I thought the coaches were going to take the next step but it doesn't appear thats the case. No offensive spark and the play calling was terrible. They purposely ran the play clock down. UNLV subbed in players like it was a scrimmage and audition for them and they were never threatened in the game which was a sleeper to watch. If this team doesn't win at least 5 games this season, it would have to point to the coaches lack of preparation and competency because the talent is there.

It would have been nice to have scored in the 13-17 range. With our talent we should have had more passing yards. Where were the TE's? Play action fake to a trailing TE up the middle, ucdavis has made a killing with this play.

We out 'sacked' them 2/1, Dline did well. Gordon and Shrader were rabid.
No fumbles, injuries.

We need to make adjustments, not sure what happened in the 3-4th qtr that opened up the scoring. Exhaustion, play calling, let-up, curse?

CP is beatable and we should go all out against the mustangs. Baiz knows Tim Walsh the new CP coach from when he was HC at PSU. Plus CP has switched its D scheme from what Ellerson had. The series is tied at 15, time for the Hornets to claim the Spanos Cup!
