Whats the opposite of a National Champion?

WSU Cougars!!!!
Really, why would someone pay $190.00 for a season ticket see the Cougars loose, when you could drive 15 minutes to see the National Champion Eagles kick A@# and save $100.00 per ticket.
I guess if you like to drive 1 1/2 hours each way, taking a chance to get a ticket in the speed traps along the way, and park two hills away from your seat which is so far from the action you need to bring binoculars.
Make no sense to me.
Go Eagles

...and when you can't get to the game you have a better chance of seeing your team on national TV!

While I don't expect Idaho State will beat WSU in their opener this year, I'll bet Kramer finds a way to give the Cougs a close shave.

No chance. They may be in it for a quarter, possibly even two but WSU will smash them. ISU is really, really bad. WSU on the other hand is on the way up. I think this is the year that they turn the ship around down in Pullman. I say go Cougs, unless of course they are playing the Eags!

gotta agree. ISU's gunna get rocked in that one.

There is no doubt Idaho State was bad last year, but I think they upgraded substantially. Kramer was pretty good at making Wulff his bitch even with less talented teams when they were both in the Big Sky. And Wulff has struggled to have his teams put just about anyone away during his WSU stint. Hell, he could easily have a combined two wins in 3 seasons had it not been for meltdowns by UW, SMU, and Montana State in consecutive years.

Yeah, I think WSU will win. But I'll will bet Idaho State plays fairly even with them for a good portion of the game and WSU fans will have a really uneasy feeling after the game.
