When do we find out if we are still playing? CIT? CBI?

CBI? CIT? when do we find out if we will continue to play.

As much as I would like to play another home game, I feel like I would rather the season end, but that's just me :|

After the way Weber was treated last year by these lame tournaments, I really don't care and hope Weber turns it down.

I seriously doubt that WSU will turn it down. It's an opportunity to keep playing and practicing... That's huge for the improvement of the lowerclassmen.

It was pure bullshit what happened to you guys last year... do you think there's any shot you get an NIT bid? Weber could do some damage in the NIT. I can see not being too excited about the CBI or CIT especially after last year, but the NIT at least is a recognized tournament with some big name teams in it. Really hoping you guys end up in that and smack the shit out of some big conference school.

I agree potomac but its all about $$$. If the NIT knew their stuff sending a SEC team, never would happen Lord forbid they actually leave their home stadium ever, to the Dee that 10k fans would show up and the tourny would cash in but. Like 2 years ago Weber went to Oregon in the CBI whenIif the tourny wanted to make more should have sent Oregon to Ogden. A lot more people woukd have shown up.

my guess:

best chance: CIT or CBI, top seed of the CIT field and playing at home is why we would end up in CIT
low chance: NIT - because we werent invited last yr, is top 100 RPI good enough?

if there was an objective criteria to get in the NIT what would it be? 25 wins? rpi 100? its just who they want vs who is available to invite. there is no way to know or guess. like picking teams in dodgeball.

The NIT Selection show 7pm on ESPNU. so then CIT/CBI annoucement will follow unless athletics has word in advance that we not invited to NIT.

St Johns gets an NIT bid with their 16-15 record and 96 RPI... Wow... Looking at the NIT teams it's an absolute fucking joke that Weber didn't get in over some of them.

Good luck against Cal Poly. Hope you guys kick some serious ass in that tournament.

Well let's see...to the big city guys running the "No Interest Tournament", trying to make it as interesting as can be, you have the choice of the St Johns type team OR a team from the what?, big sky? Huh? Go figure!! You can do so in a New York minute! OH! but wait, there's Stony Brook in the mix?! Yah-they're like 24-7 AND IN THE AMERICAN EAST CONF. - that explains that...but at least there's BYU, Washington to represent the west to balance out things.

Thanks for the good luck wish & here's hoping for a Griz upset over Syracuse!! GO BIG SKY--REPRESENT!!
