• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!
  • Guest, do want an ad free experience on BigSkyFans.com among other benefits? Upgrade your account today!

Colter (and others ) are reporting on the Bears more than you are - and he lives in Montana. The Big Sky media (yes that means you) days were held Monday and Tuesday...yet...not a single sentence in the Tribune. Hell, the Denver Post has information about it. Please do your job and write a piece on the Bears upcoming season. We know you read the message board, please reply.

Big Sky Kickoff: New commissioner Andrea Williams media roundtable
PARK CITY, Utah — In the first media event of the 2016 Big Sky Kickoff media conference here, new commissioner Andrea Williams conducted a roundtable interview with a collection of media members from around the league. Doug Fullerton’s heir apparent has been on the job for less than three weeks but discussed many topics, ranging from pending expansion to the general future of the football conference.

Slow Clap. Very well said, sir.

The Tribune is always too cheap to send their reporters out of state, so he gets a slight pass on that. Aside from that, he has just lost his passion and frankly doesn't write all that much. As I've written before, they need to hire a young hungry journalist who's passionate about his or her craft. Someone who understands social media and how to adapt to new technologies. Someone who's not afraid to mix it up and ruffle a few feathers.

I bet we're the only Big Sky city without a write-up from media days. Sam, it's THE MEDIA DAYS. You are the beat-writer for the Bears! Talk to your boss, get out there and tell the readers about the Bears and their opponents! At least we have the Denver Post, I guess.

Part of the problem is that nobody cares. Nobody even posts on this board except the occasional 10-15 of us on Saturdays during the season and the 5 -7 of us throughout the rest of the year. I wish I would have went somewhere with a passionate fan base. I've been going to games since I was a freshman in 2004, and haven't seen a big crowd once.

Mustari can do/write whatever he wants because nobody gives two shits. If they did, he would have been gone long ago with the quality of journalism he produces. It's as simple as that.
