So we're two weeks into the season and we know this much about the Hornets - They're just good enough to keep both teams in each game!
After week one most people would agree that we looked good enough to not only make the playoffs, but to make some serious noise. Regardless of how Oregon St's season turns out, anytime an FCS schools beats a Pac-12 team that's a major win.
Unfortunately the Hornets didn't know how to handle the success and ultimately flopped against SSU. There didn't seem to be any passion or urgency in their actions, they were clearly going through the motions. After watching the highlights, with the talent the Hornets have there is no reason they should have lost that game.
I don't think this is a must win for Sac - lose this week and win next week and we're 2-2 (1-1 BSC). But if they want to be seious playoff off contenders, or BSC championship contenders, they need to win. I do think WSU faces a must win, there is no way they can rebound from 0-3!
With so much riding on an early season game - which team shows up? Can they handle adversity? Has the program evovled or was the OSU game a fluke?
