Which QB is best suited for Ill game?

Looking at the numbers I would think Adams would get the start in order to see how our o-line stacks up against the ISU d-line. If they can't penetrate well, Padron should have a field day.

Conventional wisdom would favor Adams for the starting spot, however Coach Baldwin seldom goes with conventional wisdom and luckily for us he's almost always right. I'd love to see Kyle go out and kick some Redbird butt as we know he can.

I think Padron probably starts from here out... hopefully, "here out" means two more games. If we can find a way to run, that helps Padron immensely. Even with just a decent groundgame today, it opened the field for him and he was making good decisions and throwing ropes. His yardage would have been over 400 if it weren't for the two drops.

I was surprised Baldwin put Vernon in one series and that was it. When the Redbirds were blitzing so much I expected that situation to play into Vernon's style of play.
Toward the end of the game Kyle was really draggin, either he was banged up from some hits or just wore out from game action. He played one hell of a game.
Watching the body language of all the players on the sideline, it was a VERY hard fought difficult game.
Congratulations Eagles, you definitely earned this one.

I am usually a Adams "mark" but saw no need at the time for him to come in Padron was doing great at the time and unfortunately it seemed like it took a couple of series to get back into sync.

I say just like two years ago when BLM had issues to start the year we had Jones as a go too till BLM got going. This year we had Adams with Padron being the closer.
