How do you lose respect for a guy that doesn't know they haven't beat Montana, why live in the past? I highly doubt that smith not knowin they have ever beat Montana corralates to the way he plays on the field, also as I have a few good friends on the team, and no one is not smith, I don't personally know him but last year he had mid season hurnia surgery before the Montana game so maybe his mind was consumed with other things, and for most of you that don't know a week before the season smith was diagnosed with a brain tumor, but found out the week of the EWU game that it was benign, so maybe go easy on the kid, obviously he has had some off the field issues that he has had to deal with. I think that this weeks game is huge for the team especially for smith after his horrible performance last year at Idaho.

Sounds like life. And I expect a huge game from Smith and the Hornets this week.

hash critics here, your right though it is life, and there's more to life than football, I have never been diagnosed with cancer or anything but Im pretty sure that a brain tumor is no small issue, its more like life or death, so im sure he was a little pre-occupied, regardless I expect a big game from him this week as well.

Smith deserves a standing O. From everybody. The coaches were remiss by not bringing in Loeliger or MBT when Smith ran out of steam in the first few games.
