• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Why no Minnerly at safety?

Great post wineguy - agree 100 percent. Pittmann, don't be scared off. We all have our own opinions on here and express them openly, you should feel free to do the same. We may not always agree on things, but we're all hard core fans here.

jpittman...Stay on the board. It doesn't matter if you have your favorites, a team family member or whatever. We need new fresh opinions on this board. As a father of two players on the team, i can tell you I really get frustrated at some of the stupid, anti EWU comments about players and coach's; but at the end of the day, the most intelligent and loyal fans of EWU are on this board; whether you agree or disagree with them. We are about embark on historic accomplishments. We need your input.

I empathize that it must be hard to be a father of a player and listen to fans reactions at times. Well, I can sort of empathize, as I am merely a father of a EWU cheerleader. She never fumbles or misses a tackle! I have so enjoyed watching all these kids play the past four years, and can't wait for the Idaho State game and whatever comes after. Watching from a distance, I have been real impressed by Bo Levi Mitchell stepping in and enduring some tough moments, as well as seeing Jeff Minnerly embrace a position change and then experience great success. I mention these two only because of the topic of the thread. The team seems full of great kids, so they obviously have had great parents. Enjoy the rest of the ride!

Thank you...and thank God for cheerleaders. They put in as much work as the players' with half the recognition.

nwray, my son lived with a couple of cheerleaders when he played (lucky bastard) and said those on the cheer squad worked just as hard and put in more hours than the football players and aquired just about as many injuries. I thank them for their thankless efforts!

I know Reynard Williams is a great player at our level , but don't you think there are 100
guys that look like him walking around major D-1 programs. Think about the the LSU's,
Nebraska's, Miami's, ETC. I hope your right. Time will tell.
