Will the video board work this week?

I really hope they have some sort of video montage ready for the 1981 team but probably not. ISU needs to overhall its inside the dome game day experience. Outside is great but inside is like taking a trip back to the 1980s.
 
I agree about the video board. Especially this weekend, how cool would it be to have a video messages played throughout the game from the folks who couldn't make it. Guys like Marvin Lewis, Dirk Koetter, and even Jared Allen could have a 20 second message on there.
 
At least we know that they didn't short out the video board by plugging in any hot dog cookers!! At least any that work!! :lol:
 
From what the engineer of the webcast has told me the board should be working. It was sent in and some repairs have been made. He tested it and worked on it for a couple of days and it should be okay.
As for a video montage, Ray ( a graduate of Mass Communication ) built a new opening with some of the 1981 video. I think you might be pleased with it. I've seen it a few times and I thought it was great. If you watch any of the webcast we used some of the video for the opening. Anyway I'm glad the first showing will be this Saturday, fits with the theme of game day.
As for messages, there are no messages. Sorry ! Thats up to the Athletic Department.
I think the new replay equipment will go over well, can have two cameras in replay and its easier to slow down and speed up the replays.
Hopefully all will work well this Saturday. See you at the game or on the webcast.

I would love to take a trip back to the 80s --almost made the playoffs in 1980, national championship in 1981, playoffs in 1983, wins over BSU and Idaho in 1987 :D
