Win/Loss Predictions for Big Sky Season....

The Green Hornet

I think the Hornets will go 8-8 and will make the Big Sky playoffs. This team is competitive and they can get production out of every position with various players. They don't give up and they seem to be improving and I think that will continue as they get more used to each other. Katz is able to substitute player's in when someone is struggling and that really makes the team better. So far this team has been fun to watch, although a little frustrating, but they can get better, and I think they will.

I like what they are doing, but I still think they are a year away from really being a Big Sky tourney team. I see 5-6 wins, improvement on last year. They have some depth and athletes, but I worry about their depth down low and their defense. Efficiency wise, they don't get turnovers and opponents have shot the ball really well against them, and that hasn't exactly been against a schedule of world beaters.

If I had to guess I would say 5-11, and be real competitive in quite a few of those losses, but coming up just a bit short.

So pretty much the same thing we have seen the last 2 years. Exciting.
