Frankly, our Bengals played a pretty sloppy game for most of the match today against Weber's tough defense. Weber had a bad break hitting the post in the first half and we had an outstanding save against a ripping Weber shot that had goal written all over it. However, the Bengals pulled it out with an outstanding tying goal with around 3 minutes to go, sending it into overtime. They looked a whole lot better in the OT, ending tied and won the penalty shootout 4-3 - one more post hit for Weber and an ISU goalie save. They put it together when it counted today. :thumb:
Great weather day for soccer and a great crowd - the stands were packed.
Looking forward to a good match with Montana on Sunday and hopefully a Big Sky Championship.
