It's true, last night was not the worst job I have ever seen. In the second half they cut their whistles in half and let the game fow a bit more. In the first half they missed two goaltending calls, missed one intentional foul and then called the same fould on the other end. I think that Bull was sending a message to his team mates and to the refs. I believe that is why they called the T on the EWU player, because they couldn't wind the clock back and make the proper call, the intentional foul on the other end. Another thing that happened was on an out of bounds play. The ref on the baseline had a play happen within 10 ft of his position. He called the play as he saw it, while the ref at the half court line came running up and called it the other way. They went with the ref that could not have clearly seen the play. That is just poor coordination and poor judgement. They also seemed to be making an obviously bad call on one end to make up for and equally horrible call on the other end. As a fan, I would rather they just put their whistles away until something actually happens, instead of blowing the whistle and then trying to figure out why they did it.
