Losing Rodgers and Kupp hurts big time. We need both of those guys going into the Toledo game.

They just pulled Kupp because of pain. On the radio, they said EWU trainers said he'd be playing if the game was still in the balance.

OK I am conflicted . . do I want MSU to beat SMU or do I want SMU to beat them . . . .CRAP go Big Sky!

Haha, win win situation to me. I picked MSU to lose in the bigskychallenge, but I would not be disappointed seeing a big sky team topple another FBS.

Kind of a disappointing effort. The talent gap between these teams was not even close and we left a ton of points on the field because of stupid mental lapses and penalties. Need to get this fixed asap because Toledo will blow us out with this kind of effort.

Go SMU. I cannot support either Montana school in any game whatsoever,

Expectation management. We're going to have some of these types of games against better competition. We had a few of them in 2010 if that says anything. Sucks to get some injuries playing this type of game but on the other hand we got experience for the younger guys which is the point. As much as I'd like to see us put 70 points on the board, I'd rather see us learn some things and come away with a win. Coach will get them ready to play Toledo.

I love that we're at a point in the program that we can bitch about a 29 point win. :D ;)

Plenty of teaching points, plenty of experience for backups, and more big numbers to pad Big Play VA's Payton(Heisman) push.

What injuries did we have? I don't think anything serious occurred. Rodgers will need to have his knee looked at, and I'm not sure what kept Jabari Wilson out. Kupp sounds fine. Hopefully, Bronson will be back for next week... he seems to be hopping around just fine on the sideline.

Yeah, Bronson looked fine sprinting onto the field in his sweats to celebrate the last TD when he got flagged for 15... :(

Overall, can't complain too much. A win is a win and we looked pretty damn good in the first quarter in what was the definition of a trap game. After the 29-0 lead, things got a little stale, but as I said, a win is a win!

Saw the announced crowd was over 6,300. I know they sold out on single game tickets which means a lot of season ticket holders held out and as we know, most the students aren't back yet. Student section was only about half full, and really cleared out with the blowout and pouring down rain that was persistent throughout the game.

Really looking forward to the upcoming games against Toledo and SHSU. Can't wait for some more Eagle football!! Here's to hoping we didn't have any serious injuries to Kupp and Rodgers yesterday and they're back healthy next week! :thumb:

When Rodger's came back on the field he was talking just a sprained knee. I hope that is true? We have three week until comference starts.

I heard Rodgers, possible acl. probably mri this week but could be out for extended period of time. Kupp, hit pointer/contusion and out 1-3 weeks. Not sure if this is 100% accurate though.
