Weak sauce! It's somewhat ironic given how coug fans told us (repeatedly) how big time they are, the PAC 12 gives out a bush league punishment in contrast to how the Big Sky disciplined Wilkins for a similar hit in '09. Makes you wonder if the conference and WSU are worried that they may not do well against lowly UNLV and that would reflect poorly on the PAC 12.
 
If an Eastern guy ever gets a full game suspension again, this should be used as evidence to overturn it. Either suspensions are handed out or they aren't for this type of thing, but a half game is ridiculous. You'll be hard pressed to find a worse cheap shot or shot targeting the head in any gme this year.

Can't blame the Cougs or Coug fans. It was one dumb play made by one dumb kid. It's the Pac12 that's setting the example here.
 
And FWIW, WSU will beat up UNLV this weekend. I'll bet it isn't even close. Nor will the Colorado game be close. Eastern is better than either of those teams.

Yep, cheap shot...and wouldn't you know it? Same player with Leach doing the color commentary.

I'm not satisfied with a 1/2 game suspension in this circumstance. It should have been a full game suspension.

Picked up my Season FB Tickets today, includes the Griz Ticket. Last year there were some misunderstanding reference the Mont. Ticket, not so this year. Eagle Athletic Association Members purchase the tickets. They were working very hard to get the tickets out and fast. Reference the Scoreboard, now the completion date have been moved forward to Sept 24th, 5 days before the Griz Game.

Yesterday there were numerous personnel working around the field running all kinds of electricial wiring in PVC. Today they were cleaning up a little, and welding little pipes to the big ones. Sounds weird, but they are coming along. Just hope once they are completed, we can get the "BUGS" worked out before the 1st game. Vic Wallace

Buchannon just flagged for another late hit on a defenseless receiver against UNLV. Half a game was not enough, apparently. :thumbdown: :thumbdown: :thumbdown:

At least it gave the Rebels a 1st down in the redzone, and just scored a TD on it to bring it within 8
