I would have said yes, if they would have given us our promised home game, but now Im not so sure.

According to the stats listed above, Weber should be able to win easily, but we all know too well that Weber has performed quite pathetically in road OOC games.

ducks have losing record, 16-17 and 7-11 in the pac 10 finishing in 7th place.

ducks are 7-4 in OOC games played in the state of oregon. out of 33 games only 10 were true road games.
they are 7-2 at home in OOC.
0-2 on neutral in portland.

they are 4-3 at home in the new stadium which wasn't completed until jan 13 game.

we lost to ASU which finished last in the pac 10 (4-14, 12-19).

I dont know what pisses me off more, the fact that the CBI stabbed us in the back and gave our home game to Oregon....

or the fact that the CBI stabbed us in the back and gave our home game to a Oregon team with a losing record.

depends on what Wildcats show up, the ones that one eight straight conference games or the team that laid and egg against san jose, e wash, montana and st. marys. if the first them a win, if not what a great season.

Well this is one pissed off Weber fan who is going to bed, I better get an explanation for this debalacle tomorrow.

Just another in a litany of reasons to thoroughly dislike sleazy "Uncle Phil" (Knight) and the Oregon Green Zeros. What a heap of BS.

Well it appears one of my teams will be playing Weber again.

A little about the Ducks - young team, one vet (Caetron) and a first year head coach.

They were picked to finish 9-10 in the conference and surprised everyone as the team bought into Altman late in the season. Since then Oregon has beaten Washington at home, swept Oregon State (nothing to brag about but was still unexpected), lost by 8 @ Arizona in the last regular season game. In the Pac 10 tourney they beat Arizona State, beat UCLA by 20, then lost to eventual champion Washington in the semis.

Do not overlook the Ducks, they are undersized but play very very quick and aggressive. They have been a different team late in the season - but it'd be interesting to see how they would do in a close, down to the wire type game - I worry about them getting rattled.

After watching both Weber and Oregon a few times this year, and given that the Ducks are playing in Eugene, my prediction is:

UO 81
WSU 69

Go Ducks
