Sir Velo, or whom ever was running this thread;

This needs to be updated with Jeremy rising every game now, and having taken over the career 3 point shooting record. Come in off the trail long enough to get this cleaned up.

Jeremy has a legitimate shot at becoming Weber's all time scoring leader and an outside shot at becoming the Big Sky's all time leader. 10 conference games left, plus up to 3 in the conference tournament, plus at least 1 post season game. He's averaging 22.4 pts/game in conference play and 20.4 for the season. (22.4x13) + (20.4x1) = 311.6. 312+1747=2059.

Catching Bruce Collins seems quite possible. Catching Orlando Lightfoot would take a little luck. Those are both long standing records. Dame probably could have done it if he had played his senior year. :coffee:

Just imagine if Jeremy hadn't missed a whole month with that broken jaw his sophomore season. That's at least another 100 points.

Let's assume that worst-case scenario, we win the regular season title and go one-and-done in the Big Sky Tourney. We'd get an NIT bid, with at least one game. That leaves us with a MINIMUM of 11 games remaining. To pass Collins as WSU's leading scorer, Jeremy would need to average 22.6 points over that span. Difficult, but not unreachable. In order to pass Orlando Lightfoot for the Big Sky scoring lead, he'd need to average 30.1 over that same span. Not likely. Here's hoping we win the Big Sky tournament and finally get that coveted NCAA tournament win.
