WSU Football Turf Replacement Pics (Updated Daily)

Anybody know when they are gonna start laying the new carpet? And is the track finished? It looks dark grey

If it ends up being like EWU, the turf won't be installed until Aug. I would like to know the itinerary of the project.

We didn't start ours until June, so yours should be done a month or two sooner. Looks like you guys are starting the gravel layer, next comes sand and more leveling, then finally the turf.

Old capacity was just over 15.000 including bleachers in that endzone, and some temporary bleachers in other areas.

New capacity will be around 18,700 I think. The students will be moved to this EZ, Also the season tickets in the EZ are sold out. The structure will include new (but not nice) visitors locker rooms, concessions and bathrooms.

In the pic you can see what will be the tunnle to the visitor locker rooms which are surrounded by student seating

i guess WILDCAT won the contest but his field apparently has nothing to do with anything. hno: i just assumed the contest would be for the field design that would actaully be used. lol :lol:

There are some serious fan board legends in this pic. It is very rare to see this many heavy hitters in the same location. Looks like CatCat, Talhad, AJWild, SMJ, and a few others in that pic. Whoever took this pic is either extremely sneaky, or very lucky. :rofl:

Yeah it bites, my design is twice as good as the one they decided to use. but hey I got 2 free season tickets so Im happy
