• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

WSU vs. EWU Eagles

All we need is the secondary is to play decent. Our run defense has been spectacular most of the year. I think that Nichols will be able to move the ball some through the air on us but I am sure that Mac has laid into the DB's and I know that Nick Sparrow will come strong for us. I do think we have something to play for, having a winning record at 6-5 will be huge to end the season after such a tough start.

No doubt this will be a intense game, wish I was up there to watch...

Turnovers killed us this year. They hurt us this game too, but not as much as the big plays, we need to work on our pass defense. We have a lot to look forward to next year though. And with a few tweaks we should have the system in place for several years of success. Good luck Montana and E. Washington in the playoffs. We are going to beat both of you at our place next year...

One of the biggest problems on Saturday was the field conditions. We use the run to open up our passing attack and also, to control the clock. But since we couldn't rush the ball very effectively, due to the poor condition of the field, our offense had to depend on our passing game. Our pass attack is good, but compared to EWU it just doesn't stack up; yet. With a year under his belt, I'm sure Cam will do a great job next year. Even though they didn't end the season on a winning note, nor did they have a winning season, Weber put themselves in the position to become a conference contender next season. This years team, in all reallity, was a good team. If luck was on our side and we got a key first down against NAU, and didn't have to deal with some Homecooking at MU, (not to mention Barnes' two touchdown passes to MSU DB's) we very easily could have been in the position to win the conference this season. Oh Well, our team learned some very important lessons and attained needed experience. Hopefully, they will apply those lessons next season. Next season should be fun to watch. Weber will definitely be contenders.
