WSU vs. FORT LEWIS

Would it be possible to sell tickets for $1 for the final home game of the year? There is NO point in letting all of those seats go empty, you could even give them away if you want, just get people to the game for Senior Day. Or do a 2 for 1 deal, as in you buy a ticket for mens basketball or football and you get the other free for that day. Put that kind of a deal in the paper and people will come.

WSU is giving away 2500 t-shirts and a pin away at the basketball game. Of course no one knows about that unless they were at the basketball game Monday night, which was maybe 1,000 people, or you caught the ad in the standard examiner buried on 4C. You would think if they are doing this kind of give away they would back it up with a media bitz, give tickets away thru radio contests. Anything to generate pub for the games Saturday. Our marketing department sucks, they have enough money to pay for tv ads "getintoweber" why not promote some of the big games, like this Saturday's match up with Utah State.

Ya, the t-shirt thing is a good idea, but obviously u gotta let people know about it.

I agree they had a lot of money to spend on the getintoweber.com, its on buses, tv, billboards im sure they can spend a few bucks promoting sports, and its not that hard when they win like they do on the court!

You would think that after the last year bball season they would be all over promoting the team but to no surprise they had to show us how sadly pathetic they are and do nothing. The bottom line is that its easy to sell a winner but you have to strike while its hot. By the way dose anyone know if they read this forum? Because if they do I just want to let them know that they suck at their job.

They have not even reached out to UTA this year. Last year every UTA bus that I saw had THe General David Patten, and Mr. Dan Henery, along with the bright new face Coach Randy Rahe. This Promotional team does suck.

I was told by a receiver on the team that, Weber is most likely going to pull the majority of their starters at half-time; hopefully...Toone for five TD's. Hell of a Weekend for Wildcat athletics. Hey, there is a Volleyball game tonight at the Swenson at 7. Our girls are awesome and they are by far the best looking team in the Big Sky...
