any thoughts on the upcoming game?
I think the score will be something similar to our first game versus Arizona St. NDSU is probably on par with ASU and they beat us by 31. If Weber loses by less than that I would be satisfied.

I'm not saying I don't expect a pretty good thumping to be put on the kitties Saturday, but I certainly don't see this years NDSU on par with this years ASU. I guess we'll find out, but I sure like to think NDSU won't be able to coast by halftime. Regardless, I wouldn't put ISU in the same class as ASU, especially this year. NDSU has a nice F[BS] win streak going but I don't believe any of them have been against top-20 teams and most seem to be perennial middle-to-bottom of their conference pack teams.

I'm very interested in this game, I think it will speak volumes about what we can expect this season. If Weber were to lose by 31 (again) I hope NDSU would have had to put in 3+ quarters to do it. Anything less than a 3 TD loss and I think Weber and fans have reason to be excited for the new, competitive Wildcats.

the defending big 12 champs last year, that are #20 this year is a perennial middle to bottom feeder?

I believe I said 'most', as in this year's opponent Iowa St. and a few others with similar struggles: Colorado St., Minnesota. My point was I don't see NDSU on par with ASU, especially this season-- if you do, great, your team has it going on right now.

nope not saying we are on par with any FBS team, totally different to play 1 game than 12. just asking if you thought K State was a bottom feeder ;-)

I'll take a stab at your question. LAST year, no K State was not a bottom feeder, but you didn't beat K State THIS year. Your Bison beat cellar dweller Iowa State. Which, I think is totally an awesome win for NDSU, and for the FCS at large. But, you can't hang your hat on last years laurels when you have a lot of new starters and coaches this season. Still beating an FCS team after so much change is pretty remarkable. Personally, I have slight illusions to Weber pulling an upset over NDSU this Saturday. I'm hopeful for a injury free competitive contest.

Anything can happen in a football game, that's why they play the game, I dont expect a win and as long as I see Weber trying to win, and playing thier hearts out I wil be ok with it.

A win would be huge for this program, however unlikely.

Only change to the depth chart is Darryl Denby being added as backup WR(h). Game won't be on Big Sky TV due to being on Altitude TV.

Good to see that Denby is healthy and ready to play. Kamana is the backup? Did he make the trip to Arizona last week?
I'm excited to see Denby play. Heard the coaches are pretty high on him. I thought Kaimikaua made the trip but he didn't show up in the stats as participating in the game.

I watched most of NDSU v ISU. Bison pretty much ran them into the ground (300+ yds!!). If the 'Cats tackle like they did against ASU.... could be a long night. Cats keep it close in the 1st half - but I think the bison pull away after halftime. 38-17. Last years team would lose by 60. I'll be there! Go Weber!

I don't see why we can't score at least 20 0n them, heck we should have scored 21 against ASU, who's to say, that's why teams play the games

just a point your offense should pin in the lockeroom

Since Dec 2012 4 teams have put up 20 points on our D

Georgia Southern in the Semifinals (20)
Kansas St last year (21)
Northern Iowa (23)
Missouri St (26)

Stout D has been our bread and butter, but we have 3 RB's this year and a very mobile and good passing QB. our new staff called a great game last Saturday, so hopefully it keeps going. I think with all the deep seasons the past 4 yrs this team is to veteran for a let down after a high emotion win, but we will find out

Where can you pick up free tickets at?

I just went to the ticket office at the Dee and showed them the Facebook post (which they knew nothing about btw) and they gave me two free tickets

free tickets? I paid $50/each for row 1. Man, well that's ok, I just want to party with weber state coed's, not real interested in this game, but weber state better than most big fluffy teams!

Not to add insult to injury... but you most likely bought your tickets on the West sideline which will be opposite of the WSU coed's with the student section on the East side. Guess you can catch them pre and post game :thumb:

Shoot it is going to be hard for me to go got them. I live in Brigham City and I have to work the next three days so I won't make it down there til Saturday.
