WSU vs. Sac St - Free on BigSkyTV.org

It's all just friendly banter. I'm sure you guy's at BBQ U do the same thing, it's all in fun. You should join in on some of the topics at SacBuzz more often, you'd see that a lot of the poster's are very knowledgeable about the BSC and FCS football in general.

It's one thing to support your team, but you have to be realistic. There is no way that BBQ U is going to be able to run the ball like Front5 say's. You guy's do have got a good passing game though.

I did'nt say that we were going to run up the score, just that if it were possible I think that Sperbeck should make the exception to do it.

No, not related to Bengal Fan. That board is the most unrealistic one on the network. Other than UNC, ISU is probably the second worst team in the BSC.

Look Sac State fans. We don't claim to be the top team every year in the conference. However, we do know that we're 8-4 all time against you in football and 25-4 against you in basketball. I call this TOTAL domination. To your credit your team looks greatly improved this year and probably will be higher than even Montana State at the end of the year. Unfortunately, we have returned almost our entire team from last year that thumped you in the snow. Yes, you can use the snow as an excuse but to me that proves who is a tougher team physically and mentally. My prediction is Weber State 35 Sac State 21. :!:

I wouldn't call 8-4 in football total domination. One game we lost up there was 52-49...it was back and forth all game....another game was 38-31 and you guys stopped us on the 1-yard line on the last play of the game (ala Super Bowll XXXVIII). This series could easily be 6-6. For a long time in hoops you dominated. I don't disagree with that.

I predict a great game, with Weber winning on the road at Sacramento, 30-24. :D

Sac State looks really good so far this year, on both offense and defense, and the Hornets performed brilliantly on the road against Colorado State.

However, the Hornets should have been able to put more points on the board against their weaker opponents, and they have a poor conversion rate in the red zone. :? Weber leads the Big Sky in red zone conversions. 8-)

SacState might have a slight edge in defense, but it proved more vulnerable to Southern Oregon than one would expect. This was against a DII team which barely beat Dixie State, the team crushed by Weber last week. The Weber offense is good enough to score against the Hornets in situations where Sacramento may not be able to convert. :geek:

Both teams have good special teams, and although the Wildcats have a weak track record in Sacramento, they did pretty good against Hawaii on the road, so I do not think it will be as much of a factor this year.

The Wildcats should score about three touchdowns and three field goals and keep the Hornets out of the end zone on a couple of drives - enough to ensure the winning margin. :ugeek:

Weber State by roughly a touchdown! :!: :!: :!:

For those of us that couldn't make it, how terrible was the internet feed, looked like a jr. high production using someones 8 mm camcorder. Other than that the game was great, lets hope the kicker gets his leg feeling better for the Ute game, we can't leave so many points off the board this go around.
