WSU vs UNC BEARS predictions

Wildcats start a win streak, they will rock the Bears and roll out of Greeley with a domintaing game.

The Bears will be pumped to be home after 4 road games but I don't think that their talent is up to par yet. For Weber to lose this game they would have to commit a lot of mistakes but going of the way they played last Saturday they have turned into a pretty sound team and Higgins has been a pleasant surprise. I'm thinking Weber wins this one 24 to 14.
 
The defense should have had a shut-out against Suck State. My prediction is that the defense will get it done this week.

Assuming that it's going to be a very nice day to play and a lot less wet than last week. I shall venture a guess of:

The news this am is not that great. Higgins getting suspended for the UNC game. What a bone head move on his part. If Doyle gets hurt, we are in trouble. Hopefully, the D can score some points for us.
 
What an idiot, they all get a stipend to buy stuff from the bookstore. Why steal something that you can buy basically for free? So I guess we will see if Doyle can get into the endzone this time... How long is Barnes out? Any chance his recovery from knee surgery will put him as the back-up? I really don't want us to be the 1st big sky team to lose to N. Colorado.

I'm not worried Doyle will be fine, he has plenty of experience at the Div. ll level and thats all UNC is anyway. Plus the running game will be our staple in this one. I stand by my prediction.
 
I will keep with my original prediction. On the UNC Bears chat line they said that their D would make any of our qb's look like all-americans.
 
higgins is cleared of charges and reinstated on team. However, Doyle will get the start because coach mac said "because i said he would start."
 
The guys who posted on the KSL sports chat look really stupid right about now. They were calling for Coach Mac to resign and for Jerry to get canned also. I really hate it when people spout off about something that they really know nothing about.

Go to ksl.com, click on sports, then you will see a couple of stories on Higgins and a spot for comments. click on the comments word, and then you can see what the boneheads wrote.
 
So if Barnes is out for the year any chance he will get a medical redshirt year? Also what is the chance that Derek Johnson will be able to recover and possibly play next year with a medical redshirt year?
 
I think it will be a long shot for Derek Johnson or Barnes to get a medical redshirt. For the most part the NCAA is fairly stingy giving out medical redshirts.
 
Well, at least I got the shut-out that I have been predicting for the past 2 weeks. The D allowed less than 200 yd of total offence ;D What a great game by the D!!!!
 
I talked with a friend of Coach Mac today that said he had been talking with Mac about his game planning. He said to quit playing to lose and start playing to win, open the offense up, stop trying to win 10-13, 14-17, and if you lose 45-50 so what the game will be more exciting and it will put more fans in the stands. After the Sac game Coach Mac called him and said what did you think about todays game... I don't know if today's game shows that based on the team we played but I think we are headed in the right direction with a 2 game winning streak. I can't wait until next weeks game against NAU, that should be a good game to see where this team is really headed.
