FYI anyone that can make it to the game on Wednesday the game is at 8 and there will be plenty of tickets. just drive up and purchase them at the game. both games so far had about 6,000 even though the box score shows 9k per game.

usu's radio guy, al lewis said that usu has never lost one of these tourneys they host and this is the 15th year. they're something like 44-0. they almost lost to wyoming last yr. usu won the game in OT. the year before they beat NAU on the 3rd night/championship. other than those 2 teams just about every team that has been in the tourney have been patsies. this yr is by far the best competition they've brought in.

go weber pull off the upset! any game in logan is considered an upset given their home court consistency. these last 2 nights we had 2 wins in the spectrum. our last spectrum win was 1994 also our last win against usu in logan.

wsu is 15-14 at home vs usu and 8-20 in logan, 2-1 on neutral. 10-20 in all games in the spectrum.

The only thing better than Jimmy hitting that mid-court shot to win was usu making us play in the DC and punking them twice in SLC!

While I attended Weber's game on Monday, and had tickets to attend the Utah St/Morehead St game, my crew and I decided not to stick around because we wouldn't have been able to put up with classless and obnoxious aggie fan. Even long before the game started, while the Aggie players were warming up, they had already started there stupid little dancing routines. A win over the Aggies tonight, in their own house, would be the best Christmas present ever! Go Cats!!

I think this anger we are seeing from some WSU fans may correlate with the STRONG possibility that those guys never became "true Aggies", or never had an aggie ice cream, or a "big Blue Special". Utah State is my 2nd favorite team in the state behind the Wildcats of course.

I think we are all entitled to our opinions. I for one cheer for the Aggies when they are not playing Weber. I love it when the Northern Brothers beat down the two poshers along the southern wasatch. No matter, I want to see Weber beat USU whenever they play, and a win in the Spectrum would be sooooo sweet. I did get a little upset last night when some Aggie fans started cheering for Moorehead at the end of the game. I made sure they knew I was extremely disappointed. I told them that there was nothing uglier than USU fans cheering against another Utah school, but not with such tact.

Anyway, Pooh Williams doesn't frighten me at all. Bendall does. With him out its going to cause a lot of problems for Wesley. He can only operate when there is another good post player opening up the inside for him. Jardine and Forisamo are not dominant centers, they do have their moments, but they aren't Bendal (by the way, I've been very surprised by his play so far). If its just Wesley then USU might be in for some serious trouble. Especially if he gets into foul trouble. You can say what you want, but Wesley has always had a good center opening things up for him (Wilkinson and now Bendall). The thing that scares me the most is how the Cats will start the halves. Weber has to get off to a strong start and play aggressive the entire game. They can get away with playing 25-30min games against Fullerton and Moorehead, but not USU on their home floor.

I must admit, I cheer for the Aggies to win (EXCEPT when they play against Weber). I have one degree from USU and became a true aggie, love aggie ice cream, and used to work at A&W many years ago made literally 1000's of Big Blue Specials. So, I am a recovering aggie fan, but have only been to 1 or 2 aggie games in the past few years. Aggie fans are irrational and don't have a realistic perspective on their position in the college sports world. Their football team is horrible and I think would finish in the middle of the Big Sky. The basketball team is strong, but have only 1 post-season win in the past 20+ years. They pad their schedule with a lot of lower quality teams and so their record is a bit misleading. WSU is 1-1 with USU in the last 2 years. While I cheer for the Aggies to win, I don't really follow them too closely anymore.

I have attended just about every Weber game I can for the past decade (going to Montana playoffs last year, the NCAA's in Spokane a few years ago, etc..). My loyalty and my heart will always be with Weber first.
I will definitely be cheering for Weber to win tonight. I find the aggie student section be loud and irreverent and they do go too far at times (but not against byu or utah). They seems to give Weber a hard time, but nothing like they do against the zoobies and the pukes. They seem to have a little respect because of Rahe and Stew's friendship.

Go WIldcats - I would love to see them beat USU in the Spectrum.

I hate the Aggies much much worse than the U, and even the Y who I don't care for. I hope the Aggies don't win the WAC, I don't think they will either. THEY WILL NOT BE DANCING. (17 point loss to Long Beach State) USU is a horrible road team. I am not a true Aggie, have know no idea what big blue Aggie fuc*in ice cream is, and made fun of friends 10 years ago who went up to USU, and thought they were king sh*ts, only to return to Otown to raise families and find real work. You true blue Aggie wankors who are so devoted to Weber kind of sound like dorks. I'm with SWebercat02, for me I'll take my dinner at Rooster's, my skiing at snowbasin, and my basketball at the DEC, and only the DEC.
I sat by some real dickheads tonight. We played awful, and were down by 20 Again in the first half, and only lost by about the same amount as YBU did. WOW The Spectrum is a dump, bulldoze that hellhole. To all you Aggie fans try winning on the road, and winning in the NCAA's like Weber does. Let's get ready to take care of Montana State on New Year's Eve and whip the only Big Sky team who beat us last year.(2)
