WSU vs Utah State, Part 2

We didn't play badly at Utah State
USU had one of their best nights of the year, not much we can do about it when even the scrubs were playing so well. apparently they dedicated the game to bendall who was out for heart surgery. if u didn't see the game or listen to it just see the box score. Modu Niang almost had a double-double and this is a player that didn't even get in the game against morehead.
i would be willing to bet rahe won't be mad at the team after this game. it was a successful tournament. i was at 5 of the 6 games. we got 2 of 3 and the huge comeback against morehead was a good one for the team to experience. usu might not be has good as the other teams lately but they are still better than what we will face in conference so we end the OOC on a high note.
for those of you who were at the game in logan LAST YR can really appreciate the fact that we out scored them in the 2nd half 44-39. no ncaa records this yr...that was truely painful to watch.
also, don't forget we just played 3 games in 3 days and 4 in 7 days. that was good experience to prep for the big sky tourney.
now we just need to keep supporting the team. we need good crowds to help the team get the chance to host again.

I'm an Aggie fan, graduated from USU and have always rooted for the Wildcats against everyone except the Aggies. I think most Aggie fans feel the same, especially when it comes to playing against BYU and Utah. Oh there are some Aggie fans who are immature and poke fun at Weber State, but that's the minority . You ignore those. The vast majority would love to see Weber State and Rahe win the Big Sky and go dancing.

Over the past few years the little things have killed us against the Ag's. In 07 it was bad rebounding then in the rematch a week later awful FT shooting. This year, 2-20 3pt shooting and yesterday, awful rebounding. You can't allow a team to have that many second chance opportunities. Also, our Bigs didn't do very well. Granted, the refs really didn't let them get into a rythmn but still...
