I think Zamberlin is a good coach, just not a head coach at this level. I also believe that he is one heck of a LB coach and he could probably coach that position almost anywhere.
We can argue until we are blue in the face about what John did and did not have and what Kramer has been given. But, the fact still remains Zamberlin could not retain his own recruits at an acceptable enough level to allow his teams the chance to be successful.
I will always believe that player attrition was the single biggest contributor to Zamberlin not being successful at Idaho State.
