Cal-State Bakersfield

Post by bigskyconf » December 16th, 2018, 12:04 pm

Next up for the Viks is Cal State-Bakersfield on Thursday, 12-20 at 7pm from the Pavilion. The Roadrunners sit at 6-4 with some tough losses to TCU and USC. They are currently 2-0 over the Big Sky with wins over Weber State in the Bahamas (68-67) and at Idaho (73-67). They are from Bakersfield, CA and the WAC. After us, they will play Gonzaga on New Year's Eve so they are not avoiding anyone. They do not have any connections on their team from the Pacific Northwest.

Halftime.

When Michael Mayhew gets back to 100%, he’ll be the 2nd Viking on this roster who can actually handle the ball in traffic. No wonder BooBoo does so much himself.

This team thinks a step slow. Fortunately, the Big Sky is a bit more forgiving.

Hey, spread ‘em out and 3s start falling and comebacks almost happen.

Missed. Free. Throws. Late. Gaaaaah!

I can't wait to see Mayhew back in business as well, we need more players like him! It wouldn't hurt to have a third player who's able to cross the field without being successfully intercepted.
