It’s weird to think anyone could’ve watched Bell and Taylor play and not come to the conclusion that Schakel wasn’t a better QB. Both those guys are good athletes and can certainly find a place on the team, but Schakel is soooo much better as a QB.

You're still thinking Best chooses starters based on ability and not seniority. I get why. The thought that he or any coach would do that is just so stupid it's hard to conceive. I actually asked my co worker who played for Eastern today and he confirmed as much. He actually found it interesting that someone from outside the program noticed it.

Hopefully Schakel is alright, I don't think Eastern can beat Cal Poly without him.
We could maybe beat them with Bell, but it doesn't look like he's going to be able to go anytime soon, either. The true Freshman looks like another running type QB. Kind of a bigger version of Taylor. Hopefully Schakel can go and they were just holding him out as a precautionary measure because we were up 20.

Good effort by the defense today. 5 int's if I'm not mistaken. That must be some sort of record.

They might have had Rolfsness or whatever run the ball to burn clock since we were up 20 points. That one shot he took downfield showed he kind of has an arm, not much accuracy though. From what I've seen from the Cal Poly QB he is a lot better then the two Northern Colorado QBs that were playing today. He is a transfer from an FBS school that came back home to play football. I don't think he will throw 5 INTs lol.
