It’s weird to think anyone could’ve watched Bell and Taylor play and not come to the conclusion that Schakel wasn’t a better QB. Both those guys are good athletes and can certainly find a place on the team, but Schakel is soooo much better as a QB.

You're still thinking Best chooses starters based on ability and not seniority. I get why. The thought that he or any coach would do that is just so stupid it's hard to conceive. I actually asked my co worker who played for Eastern today and he confirmed as much.
