NDSU to MWC

Read somewhere that it’s also Montana and MSU. If they’re gone would it make sense to rename the conference to something else? I mean, “Big Sky” wouldn’f really apply anymore.

I think NDSU will be in over their head if they leave. The other teams in MWC have even more money than they do and have more populated areas. Right now they are a big fish in a small pond. APP state comes to mind right away. They might have a season or two where they sneak up on some teams but they wont dominate .

Maybe. I think they will be competitive. Who's even left in the MWC that's worth a shit as a program?

Even more outrageous is Sac State's price tag to move to the MAC which exceeds 25 million.
I guess they think it's worth it, although I'm not sure how much media coverage the MAC gives them. Maybe they're just treating it as a means to an end to eventually get into the MWC. Still, I have a hard time seeing them getting much success in FBS football.

I think NDSU will be just fine. Sac State, however, I'm not so sure of.

It was their only option.
