Playing a healthy Bobcats team on the road is the toughest FCS game on the schedule. To have a chance, the Wildcats can’ti commit turnovers and force a few. They need the defense to be as good if not better than last week.

It’s a tall task, but the Wildcats need to play loose as the underdog and leave all the pressure on Montana State. I think it’s possible. I’ll go with my heart on this one and pick the Wildcats to make a statement. October is “Believe” time!

I watched a lot of their game with EWU. EWU hung with them for a short time, but got worn down as the game went on. MSU, as usual, is a power running team. They can pass it when needed, but the run game is their bread and butter. We have been improving on our run D, but this will be the biggest test yet. Nobody expects us to win, so just go play hard and see what happens. I doubt very much that they are looking past us. They have already taken a loss to Idaho. I'm sure that sharpened their focus quite a bit. On the other hand, our guys are young and don't know they are supposed to lose.

Opening line is 24.5... I feel really good about covering that.
Yeah, I think you will cover. Its good to see Weber back in contention for the league, have missed you guys for the last few years. I am still having trouble seeing WSU as a offensive team, I always thought of you as a physical defensive team.

It was a tough couple of years. Back in the day I wish we could have gone from McBride to Hill and skipped the sears/John L smith debacle. Likewise wish we could have gone from Hill to Kjar and skipped Mickey. It's been fun for the fans having a more aggressive offensive approach. Hopefully we grow to where we are both! Our D has improved a bunch but still has a ways to go!

What are your predictions for the game?

I don't usually do predictions, but assuming even turnovers, I will go with a 17 pt win for Bobcats.

I agree, from what I have seen your defense is middle of the league, but your offense can be dangerous.

I expect MSU to try to keep you offense on the sideline and run the ball more than we did early in the season. I think our OL is finally coming together and with the offenses in the BSC this year we need to shorten the game.

We still have a couple of guys out but nothing like a few weeks ago.

Our offense has the capability of being quite explosive. If we keep turnovers down I wouldn’t be surprised if we have more than 25 points on the board. Although they have been playing better I still don’t trust our defense at this point.

17 feels about right for me too. We have been in a lot of close games this year so hoping we can keep the magic alive!
