Re: 2019 RECRUITING CLASS

There is not going to be some huge dropoff next year due to Graves leaving. Most of the core players are back and they will improve and there are ample other guys that can also step up and play guard. Yeah not buying this statement at all. Graves scored 24% of all Hornet points, 29% of all Hornet 3...

Re: 2019 RECRUITING CLASS

Patton is one if not the best Center in the conference, so clearly that is not the biggest immediate need for this team. It will be in the future and clearly that was an excellent find and they did great developing him because he was improved tremendously and if he can make another leap this offseas...

Re: M&W 2018-19 Season

Hornets finish 14-15 (8-12) in the regular season and go into the BSC Tournament as the 8th seed and will play NAU in the first round in Boise. I view the first round game as a toss up, but don't expect the Hornets to get past the 2nd round. The program was able to turn it around from a horrid seas...

Re: Bunky Harkleroad Must Go!

There is going to be a lot of movement on the Men's side this offseason, I expect changes at Idaho State, Northern Arizona, Montana, and Montana State. I think DeCuire is the guy at Washington State, he's from Seattle proved he can coach/recruit has Pac 12 ties also. Katz and Verlin have a year left...

How about Katz too!

So tired of 8-20 seasons.

Granted they have laughable facilities, but seriously I think we have seen all these guys can do.
You are tired of 8-20 seasons? 8 of the last 9 years there was a record better than that.

Re: 2017-18: The Lost Year

I disagree with pretty much everything that was said here. The team was very similar to the previous two years even without Graves playing. A much tougher schedule was played and the Big Sky Conference was the toughest it has been in forever. You can argue that the overall program should be better e...

Re: 2017-2018 Schedule

They always begin the season against 4-5 patsies and no names. Guess to get the confidence up? Doesnt help the draw of fans though. There has been a Pac 12 team on the schedule in one of the first three games of the season in 4 out of the last 5 seasons. The one season there wasn't a Pac 12 team on...

Re: Golden1 Arena???

Scott Moak was the PA for both games. Kansas/Stanford is not a part of the Sac St/Davis game next year they are on different dates. Cal vs SDSU is absolutely an A List game. This was one of the best non conference matchups on the West Coast and there were multiple lottery pick potential players goin...

Re: Exhibition Game

Shooting was what I thought would be a huge factor if the team wanted to finish in the upper part of the the conference coming into the season and it didn't look great, we will see how that develops. Strings was impressive as usual (lead team in points/rebounds/assists). He's really tough to stop wh...

Re: Exhibition Game

5th Starter: I assumed it was Wu, but I guess if you really wanted to keep him in the 6th man role you could plug someone else in. Shooting really needs to improve this year if the Hornets want to get to the next level, Graves really struggled from deep last year if he can start hitting like I know ...

Re: Justin Strings

He played really well during the summer trip and looks like he is in really good shape. Going to have a monster two years coming up, really excited. He went from starting the season coming off the bench to the best player on the team by far last year, was awesome to watch.

Re: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MEN’S BASKETBALL’S TRIP TO TAIWAN

Tough loss this morning, but it was against a really good Philippines team, definitely the best opponent they have faced so far. They had a mixture of some big strong athletes and some nice skilled players. They had a really good defensive big guy N'Diaye who had 8 blocks for the game. Same as last ...

Re: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT MEN’S BASKETBALL’S TRIP TO TAIWAN

Tough loss to Iran earlier this morning, game was close the entire first half and Iran made a run early in the third quarter and never relinquished the lead. They went with a different starting lineup (Izayah and Patton both started over Wu and Eric). Patton played better in this game then the previ...
