2016 Women's Soccer

2-0 win over Cal State Bakersfield yesterday at home to start off the women's soccer season and the first regular season contest and win for any Hornet team in the 2016-17 athletic season for Sacramento State

Way to go Hornets.

Hoping for big things from this team loaded with juniors and seniors. Will be fun to watch this Hornet team stacked with all the experience they have in Big Sky and beyond.

Congrats to the Hornets for a good season heading into the last home game this week. Sac State is in 2nd place in the Big Sky and will make the Big Sky tourney if they continue to fight hard. Great season for this Sac State team. Best of luck to our Hornets.

Hornets win yet again at Portland State yesterday and move into the Big Sky Tourney in 2nd place, just one loss behind Idaho and need to go to the Big Sky tourney at Eastern Washington because the field at Idaho is unfit? Wow. Life in the Big Sky is crazy. Why not move the tourney to Sac State where the facility is just fine. All good , Idaho wins the Big Sky regular season so has the short trip away from their own unfit home facility. Whatever. Hornets are on a role and winning their last five with tons of momentum .

All the best to our Hornets in the tourney and may they bring home the title and move on to the NCAA tourney for this very good team!!
