I think there has to be a fairly high level of certainty that Marion takes the OC title back and is play calling, especially given this is an offense he likes to take ownership as designer of… can’t imagine he just turns it over to someone else that easily.

Very pleased with the result of this search and hire and am believing that we have bright days ahead and the Big Sky is on notice! Can’t wait to see how he fills out the rest of the staff. As everyone agrees KR is a must keep, I’d like to see Pumphrey stay, and Cherokee seems to have a good recruiting impact. Outside of that I think I’m open to Marion bringing in a fresh crew.

I also think D Line has been pretty decent this year too. Obviously with Misi gone, LB is open, my guess he brings his own DC in that may or may not retain staff. My guess is base Nickel is probably going to change too, so that may necessitate changes to various players/positions. I have noted on X lots of JC coaches in NorCal that know him and glad he is taking the job. My guess is we will have him 2-3 years to prove what he can do and P4 will come calling.

Bobby F should NOT be our OC. HC running his offense IMO.
Those OC $ could hire solid DC. BF can be QB coach and should apprentice and “take notes this time” around!

KR 100% I’d hope he retains. He’s awesome!

Pomphrey RB coach should enjoy this Offense if HC doesn’t have any UNLV assistants he doesn’t bring?

Hopefully at the same time Wood/Orr reveals the stadium and construction start date. BOT meeting same month.

Hopefully, Marion hires a competent DC.
If Fresques is so good with local coaches, move him to recruiting coordinator.
 
I'm ok with waiting. That portal deadline is coming up and Marion's got to give it his full attention.

In my dreams, Marion would have signed early, brought on Tim Skipper as DC and Sac State raids the Fresno St and UNLV rosters.
