Thought I would start a schedule thread for 08/09, as schedules are being released......
Heres what we know so far
The men play at Oregon Nov. 14.........Opener?......and the men are also playing in the Las Vegas Invite (other teams Creighton, Fresno State, Depaul, St Louis, Southern, South Carolina Upstate, Liberty) Two games at campus sites and then two in Vegas in late December...

I'm sure we're @CSU also... DU home and home, @ Air Force, CU won't play us. :P

Perhaps Johnson & Wales at home. :|

Just guesses there at the obvious.

Troy, I'm sure you have heard things but understand you might not be at liberty to divulge. 8)

I want a rematch with CU. We should have beat them a couple years ago, but they counted that stupid buzzer beater at the end of the game. They're scared to play us. I know when Patton was their coach there was some talk of coming to Butler to play us. I don't know how Buzzzz would feel about coming here. Sure would be fun.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Bzdelick was at Air Force when they were supposed to come up to Butler and it got snowed out. I beleive that was December of '06.

You mean Butler-Hanthingy right?

I also thought I saw on another board we'll be hosting N. Dakota but need to see if I can find that again.

The North Dakota game is the first of a 2-for-1. They'll come to Greeley twice, sandwiched around a trip to Grand Forks for NC next year.

The Women will play in the 4 team Caribbean Classic MTE December 18-21. The other teams involved:Washington, Florida State, and the University of CONNECTICUT.

 Holy crap!

Confirmed the first two games in the Las Vegas Classic will see the men travel to Creighton and Fresno State. Two games in Vegas on the 22nd and 23rd. A "sandwich" game while in California is in the works, so it becomes a five-game trip before Christmas.

Dates to be solidified, but the men do play at CSU this season, while Air Force and San Diego State are headed to B-H.

We should see the full schedule before the end of next week.

Thoughts: I appear to be personally hosed for getting to see family at Christmas...and then have to suffer through New Year's in Poctaello ;) Yeah, the glamorous life of being a p-b-p guy.

Oh, and I wish the Oregon game was a week later, so that I could do both that game and football at Portland State...instead I'll be in Sacto.

Seriously, I like the balance of this schedule. In-state series continue, though DU appears to not have wanted to go home-and-home again. North Dakota, as noted, is a two-for-one, this year and two years from now in Greeley, next year in Grand Forks. Home and home with Texas State is another nice one.

That's a really tough OOC schedule. Troy, you do get to be in Vegas though! Sure beats Grand Forks or something over Christmas.

Looking forward to the Altitude game. So is that the only game on TV or is there a chance of them getting a couple of more? Guess I am spoiled. :)

Brian, I noted the Altitude game from Montana's notes on Friday. I've not seen everyone else's schedule yet, though Weber's came out Thursday. I just haven't dug into it, beyond that Jan. 3rd date in Ogden.

The third game of the Vegas classic and first game in Vegas will be against Liberty......Then either South Carolina Upstate or Southern

I'd be tempted to head to Omaha on the 13th to cheer you guys on over the BJs. Sadly I haven't been able to make it up there to watch my beloved Shox play though. Oh well. We'll see what happens with my officiating schedule. Good luck that game though. CU returns a number of talented players and had a pretty good recruiting class. They lack much size though. Initially I figured they'd be the preseason favorites in The Valley but I'm starting to wonder a little bit about that. Size could come back to haunt them, but they do always seem to be a good team and are well coached by Altman. Man I can't stand them.

I hope to see you guys continue to improve. I love Coach Boyle and enjoy following you guys from afar.
