We forced a couple turnovers against WOU.kalm said:Time of possession:
Toledo 36:50
EWU 21:10.
I was curious to see this number because I felt like our D was on the field the whole night and still played pretty damn tough, despite the yardage. They were, and they did - especially the 2nd and 3rd quarters where we forced a number of 3 and outs and kept us in it. That's a REALLY positive sign for us go forward. And we STILL haven't forced any turnovers.
I may have been over-reacting a bit to Vernon's play earlier in the thread but man he looked lost. There was one series where he had back to back throws in the dirt. I assume it wasn't physical, and I understand Bo has to leave him in to for confidence reasons and to learn...but it was difficult to watch in a game where we had a shot to win.
Also, nice to see the Big Sky refs make the trip. hno:
Vic E. Wallace said:To All,
Went out to the University today, saw some of our Players about 3pm, they were getting ready to go watch films. Cooper Kupp was limping, I asked him if it was his hip pointer, he said yes. Told him to take it easy, this week and get healed for the Weber State Game Oct 5th, he stated he will be ready. I am attempting to get about 25-30 Players by my home, for dinner on Tuesday. They will practice Tues - Thurs, and Coach will be letting the team go home for a few days, which is great. Spoke to Joe Douglas DL #97, he stated he taught they got back about 2 am. Will be at practice Tuesday. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace
