It ends up working to their (Willamette) advantage, because they get a payday out of it. Can't say the same about Menlo in that instance. It also gave PSU another game. So, it works out both ways; not in terms of strength of schedule, but at least at least we were able to keep a 12-game schedule that way.

An FBS game is going to be played every year no matter what. Just so happens that it's the Horned Frogs next season. It's good preparation and the players look forward to those games the most.
