2011 Sac State Schedule

SD might like it, but I certainly don't.

1. Open with three straight and five of the first six on the road.

2. There's no designated Homecoming game, but the likely ones are decidedly unpalatable. Either Montana (which we've NEVER beaten) or the defending national champions. Homecoming should be a patsy like ISU.

3. I don't like playing SUU. That's REALLY going to drag down our RPI....

1) We have no control over that.

2) EWU is the homecoming game.

3) SUU won their conference! Their GPI wasn't bad at all. Don't know where you got that impression :ohno:

Not too keen on 5/6 games on the road to start the season.

Why wasnt SUU played as a home game? We are an established team in the BSC and should have had that first game vs. them at Hornet stadium.

We never have 6 home games and I’d much rather have a road FCS game than a home D-2/NAIA game. The BSC schedule is what threw the home-away sequence like it is. If the Hornets get hot early, that can set up for some well attended games in the second half of the season.

You are talking Sacramento here. If it is cloudy people will stay home. We dont have the damn the weather fans that other successful programs in the midwest or mountains enjoy. Later in the year there is rain, wind, and cold oh my.

They (SUU) had a good season last year and seem to be improving, they even won their conference. I applaud the decision to add them to the schedule and not go for a DII. The chances of making the playoffs are that much better now.

Anyone else notice the SUU game is currently listed as Sunday, Sept 11th? Anyone know why this is or if it is suppose to be on the 10th? :?:

A typo, they had us playing another directional oregon school last year, I had to email the department and they fixed it.
