Saw on his twitter account that Christian Backes a 6-5" tight end from Grand view has committed to UNC. He had offers from SDSU, NDSU, and I believe Weber State. This a nice get for the Bears. Nice job staff!

Wow, that is a great step in the right direction. Seems like we were the only FCS school interested in many of the players we were going after in the previous years. To get one that had offers from NDSU and Weber is a really good get.

Another running back. Hakeem Deggs from New Orleans. He's a 2 star prospect who chose us over FBS programs SMU and ULM. I like this signee, but enough running backs!

Yup. Darius Graham. He's from Lawton, OK. He is a 3 star running back, and he had offers from La Tech, SMU. He had a shoulder injury that kept the bigger programs away. I'm liking the RB talent that's coming in. All of them are highly recruited. I wonder though if some will become DBs?

I hope they know this when they sign. I know we do running back by committee, so maybe this is a good thing. However, at season end on his radio show, Collins said he is going after some JC linemen. I'm not saying they're not trying, but I'm surprised we have only singed a few. Also, any news about Jayquan Walker? He is a mid-year signing. Maybe the a.d. can put the press conference on-line. I can't make it to tonight's party.

Also, Tajh Willingham (Lei's brother) is not on the list. And Bear Friend, I was ranked 13th.

Check out Jalen Boyd. He's a 3 star recruit out of high school, red-shirted at Navy. He had offers from Stanford, Illinois, Hawaii, UCLA. Way to go coaching staff! :notworthy: :notworthy:

I watched all the clips on the website and the most impressive to me was the RB from Lawton, OK.

Of course I realize 4 or 5 plays don't mean anything but that kid looked like a man amoungst boys. :thumb:
