2014 Attendance

Attendance for this game was 9,212. Weather definitely put a damper on another game of over 10k.

Through 5 home games:

vs SHSU - 10,310
vs MW - 9,116
vs ISU - 11,256
vs UNC - 10,064
vs UND - 9,212
Avg over five games=9,992

In addition to the weather, having it on SWX kept folks away too I would suspect. Which is a good problem.

Attendance for this game was 11,339 . I thought there'd be a little more than that, but no complaints.

So if we had good seats on the east side simular to the west side of the stadium, what would our average attendance have been this year. My guess is 12,000 for this year.

Wonder how many seats we could add if the field was lowered so as to add a tier of seating where the track is now. IF anything happens in the future with a new facility on the east side the plan is to remove the track anyway.

At least.

ATTENDANCE UPDATE: Montana enters its final regular-season home game ranked first in the FCS in average attendance. Montana is averaging 25,214 fans per game. James Madison is second at 22,515. Montana State is fourth in average attendance at 18,386 per game. Eastern Washington is third in the nation in attendance compared to the capacity of the stadium. EWU is averaging 118.79 percent of its capacity with an average of 10,216 fans in its 8,600-seat stadium. Montana State is sixth at 105.12 percent. Montana is 10th at 99.9 percent.

Pretty cool to see EWU high in a stat concerning attendance in the FCS!

Love the Eagle Nation representing and keeping Montana out of the stadium! Go EAGS!
