2015 Season Wish List

First off, thanks for 30 plus games of entertainment. This winter was freaken cold and long in North Dakota. Basketball made it Bearable.

My Wish List:

1. Improved game plans: this is on the coaches.

2. Improved offensive sets: coaches again.

3. Inbound play: coaches please figure out one play that works, we have more turnovers than points out of these opportunities.

4. Freethrows: Boys we need these think you can make them and they will go in.

5. Share the ball: Boys we need improvement in the assist category.

6. Inside game:

7. 3 pt defense

8. Have fun: It didn't look like you were always having fun. College is great. Work and the real world will be waiting for you soon enough.

Until next year, I hope everyones live are uneventful. March Madness here we come :thumb:

1. New football coach

BJ is not going any where so there is no reason to wish for anything since nothing is going to change with men's basketball and we will be talking about exactly the same issues next year at this time watching Weber State or Montana get beat in the tournament by a number one seed....

This team had the Wizard of Oz problem this year. You know, no courage, brains, or heart.

I'm being harsh I don't really mean that but I do think the team underachieved which I know most of you disagree with but they just didn't show up so many times this year there is no way they reached their potential.

It just seems like the last 3 or 4 years that's been the story everytime.

I'd rather watch a team with less talent overachieve and reach their potential and fall short than to watch a team that had the potential to win the conference not get even close.

I am surprised by the comment that you think this team did "not get even close." Maybe you weren't paying attention, but they did lose in OT to the eventual conference champ. That's called getting close.

This team seemed to have plenty of heart and talent. Maybe what they need now is encouragement and a pat on the back for spending SO MANY hours in the gym, on busses, on planes, all while trying to get a degree. This is a good group of young men who don't need to hear from others about failing. I'm sure nobody wanted to win more than they did. And they shouldn't have to BEG the students and community to come support them at home. Other BS schools are doing much better at attendance. Maybe in 2015....

Go Bears!

Go Bears!

First of all, I like the username. I hope my wish list didn't communicate negativity towards the young men. I too believe they have plenty of heart. Most of us posters are middle aged men that couldn't play the game even in our youth. Some of us still play several days per week. Although, I'm not sure it qualifies as basketball at this point. Again I personally enjoyed every minute of the season. I'm just hoping the boys did too!!!!!!

Be safe!
