Watched the video and noticed somethings. 14, 36, 39, 46, 56, 64, and 60 are numbers being used, but are not on the most recent roster. In the video there are 5 QBs or players wearing yellow jerseys and there was an excellent shot of Hintze kicking. 56 was with the starting line playing on the left end. Might be a drop down.
I have also noticed a few things: The online football roster on weberstatesports.com is rarely accurate or up to date.

Getting good info like a current roster, or two deeps before the third game of the season is played always pisses me off. How hard would it be to update those weekly or even monthly?

Kelly Hilinski is still listed on the prospectus but no uniform number.

Not sure beyond that. Could be some transfers, returning missionaries, walk ons, etc.

According to the practice schedule there is a scrimmage tomorrow morning...maybe i can get work release and go watch for a few. Friday, Aug. 12 9:35 - 11:35 a.m. (Scrimmage)

Quick report from what I saw at the scrimmage. Only two QBs were used Clark and Cantwell. Jadrian, shockingly, did really well. He only had 1 major D'uh moment. He over-threw his RB on a dump pass, but other than that he looked sharp. Cantwell started strong, but then fizzled. He ended up throwing 2 picks. The defense looks as good as ever. Our OL is strong but I worry about our backups. It would be great to see a 2-deep right now, but..

I'm gonna go out on a limb here that will probably make me very unpopular on this site but I think that WSU will win only 3 or 4 games this year. The only remaining games on the schedule that they have a legitimate shot at winning are Montana State and Idaho State. So I think the number will be 4. I think they will be close in several others but even they win these the best they can do is match last year's 6 wins. But I am going with only "4"!

The way they've looked, I can certainly see that. Most aspects of the team seem to have regressed which is disappointing because Hill has certainly changed the culture and has had them going in the right direction. I'm not much into trying to predict games or records, but I've been having a tough time envisioning 6 wins this season.

Stay at the bowing centers baller. You're just spittin' straight gutter balls right there bro. Terrible evaluations dude.

Update on my September 26th Post... after viewing the unusually high number of "weak" teams in the Big Sky this year I am updating my prediction from 3-4 wins for WSU to 5-6 wins. Six games left on the schedule and it seems that Weber is definitely stronger than ISU, MSU and NAU. They are weaker than SUU, UND & Cal Poly. I expect that they will lose one game to one of the three weaker teams and win one game from one of the three stronger teams. That means three additional wins on top of the existing 3 wins for a total of "6"!

Weber plays only 2 of the anticipated top 4 teams in the conference this year (Cal Poly & UND). They do not play at all the anticipated top 2 teams (EWU & Montana). It is a very favorable schedule and I suppose with the favorable schedule and the overall weakness of the SKY it is remotely possible that they could win all three of the weaker team games left on the schedule and even one of the stronger teams left on the schedule. If that happens then they go 7-4 and improve on last year's record.

We need a QB, two receivers and one DE in the worst way...

The Sky has a great deal of parity this season. I'm not going to say the teams are necessarily better, just saying that they are more equal than in the past. Evidently the top teams are Eastern, Montana, North Dakota, and Cal Poly; yet, if the Cats are able to get more from their backups and can become a little more consistent then there is an outside chance that the Cats can be the dark horse contender.

I agree on personnel. We desperately need better receivers. The Ends are getting better. QB? Well, I don't see anything changing until the 2017 season.

Oh, what would Billy Green look like these days if he had been given as many starts as J. Clark has the past two years. After watching J. Clark over the past 3 years I just haven' t seem much progress. Yes he big, Yes he runs like Forest Gump at times. But his touch hasn't improved, his ability to read and react to the defense has not improved and the list goes on.....But as O Cat said not sure we will see much change until next year. However word on the street is they might be giving Zach Smith 4# might be given a few touches this week. Lets see if my sources are correct on Saturday.

interesting Zach Smith gained over 700 yards rushing and average 5.6 yards per carry in the 2014 season and he didn't have an offensive line that was half as good as the one we have now! Something to think about. Maybe no hope to see a new QB this season but maybe this some hope of seeing an Old RB like smith or a new WR who can catch and get YACS.

Well...when one had very low expectations for a specific position/s (QB) at the beginning of the season and looking at what has so far been accomplished, you can't be anything but happy with the overall results.

With all the doomsday talk on this forum, one would think we were 0-5

Seriously. We're third in the conference right now...
