This could have some credibility. He isn't on the roster anymore, while all the other redshirt freshman are:

I think that's correct. I believe Vic shared that info before the season started. I wondered n if the coaching staff wanted to redshirt him, but play Pierce and Custer, and that factored into his decision. Just speculation on my part.
 
Sounds like the coaches were out recruiting during the bye week. How many other FBS schools, especially those on the west coast, can say to a recruit they will get an opportunity to go play the Florida Gators?
? to you former players, would this sound to a high school kid?

You beat me to this, we are loosing three Outstanding WR's, and we are reloading already. I noticed one of the WR past up an opportunity to go FBS (San Jose State). Three of those individuals was here and they love what the have seen, and they love the Coaches. If our team play to their potentials, I don't care how much fans come from Montana, will "WIN". Remember the are winless here on the Inferno. I have been raining all this week, and the team have been out working their BUTTS Off. Go Eagles!!! BTW, the Tents are all up as of yesterday 4 to be exact. One came in handy yesterday, kept me out of the Rain.:) Vic Wallace
 
Met these two Scouts yesterday, they are very impressed with our Team, there are so many Players they are impressed with. They are looking at our three Seniors Wide Receivers, of course Coop is ahead of the crop. They didn't stay very long, couldn't stand all that rain. Rams Scout love my Island Accent, he taught I was from New Orleans :o. Walk through is between 3-3:30 pm. We will be there, with bells on. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace
